The firm Barceló Abogados was born as a professional project of Teresa Barceló who, after leading the Department of Intellectual Property at a prestigious national and internationally renowned law firm for 13 years in Barcelona, Spain, decided to found a Boutique Law firm with the aim of providing high quality advice on Intellectual Property, Digital Law, and related areas.

She holds a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She also holds a post-graduate degree of University Specialist on Trademark and Design from the University of Alicante – second graduating Master’s class in Trademarks, Designs, Patents and Copyrights (Magister Lucentinus). Associate number 19,968 in the Bar Association of Barcelona (ICAB). She is an Industrial Property Agent. She has participated regularly as a lecturer or speaker at several schools and legal fora such as ISDE (Institute of Law and Business, for its acronym in Spanish), University Pompeu Fabra IdEC, EAE (School of Business Administration, for its acronym in Spanish), Catbio, ICAB, ACT Catalan Association of Technology (for its acronym in Catalan), Official Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona, AMEC (Multi-sector Association of Catalan Companies, for its acronym in Catalan), IRR (Institute for International Research), AIMF (Exhibition Marketing Association, for its acronym in Spanish) and Beauty Cluster. Leonor Valls Malo has a degree in Law from Abad Oliba University (CEU), an institution affiliated with the University of Barcelona, later studying a Magister Lvcentinvus, Master in Industrial, Intellectual Property and Information Society Law (VIII) promotion. Collegiate No. 28419 at the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). Member of the International Association for the Protection of Industrial and Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

She has developed her professional career in various international law firms in Barcelona specializing in Industrial and Intellectual Property, new technologies and commercial law, providing legal advice to national and international clients in the aforementioned legal areas.

She speaks Spanish, English and Catalan.
